How Aging Possibilities came to be
​From Personal Experience to Professional Purpose
Aging Possibilities was born from a deeply personal journey - a moment that changed everything.
In 2013, when founder Kristine Hansen's father passed unexpectedly, she found herself splitting time between Naples, Florida and Green Bay, Wisconsin to help her handicapped mother wind down family businesses. As a proud "Solo-Ager" approaching 60 without children or a spouse, Kristine faced a sobering question: Who would be there for me when I need support?
That experience revealed a critical gap in how we approach aging in America. While some have resources for navigating aging transitions, many face this journey without adequate guidance. Kristine discovered something important: with the right planning, education, and preparation, aging can be empowering, not frightening.

The Heart Behind Aging Possibilities
​Hi, I'm Kristine—though my family and childhood friends call me "Krissy." I'm a lifelong learner, proud Solo-Ager, and the founder of Aging Possibilities. I created this company as a bridge between "now" and "then" for individuals, families, and professionals navigating the complex journey of aging.
Born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin, I've proudly called Naples, Florida home since 1993. My professional journey spans over 35 years in construction, real estate, and senior-focused services, but my personal journey—losing my father unexpectedly and supporting my handicapped mother—ignited a deeper calling to empower others to plan wisely, age safely, and live fully.​
